Frankly speaking, at the point of writing this, I have yet to watch GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra on the big-screen. Why? For a couple of reasons actually. Technically I have not been able to find the time to do so (been pretty tied up with work/family commitment lately etc.) but largely it's due to my paranoia of not wanting to mingle with strangers (in the times when a certain flu virus is on the rampage!) in an enclosed + air-conditioned hall for a considerable long period of time.
Heck, I made up my mind a long time ago that I'd be restraining myself from picking up any 3.75" action figures other than the Star Wars line. Which means that I wasn't gonna get any of the classic GI Joe re-released 25th Anniversary action-figures (although I was tempted many many times!) and ESPECIALLY the movie toys.
But after much consideration and countless review readings later, I've decided to pick up one figure from the movie line for review purposes (yeah, right!). The choice of which figure to pick was quite obvious based on the rate of it's shelf life. In fact I was quite lucky to still be able to find this yesterday at a TRU near my place. It was the only one left, thank God!
For the record, this is my 1st ever 3.75" 'Joe figure purchase since I last got my hands on the vintage figures back in the late 80's. I know a couple of local collectors who seemed to collect every single figure churned out by Hasbro for the movie, but to me, having just this one is satisfying enough (for now that is!).......The Baroness in her 3.75" glory!:

I'm not sure when I'll actually do a review on the figure itself, but for now it looks good inside the packaging, with the excellent packaging-art that comes with it....heheh. Did someone say Sienna Miller?
