Just like NECA's Ghostbusters shortlived series (they didn't even get to make any of the GB boys!), the 300 action figures started off very promising indeed. Originally released somewhere in late 2007 to commemorate and correspond with the movie which came out in March of the same year, collectors were presented with 4 action figures (now famously known as 'Series 1' or the ONLY series we'd ever get of the shortlived series) which consists of King Leonidas, Ephialtes the hunchback, The Immortal and fan-favourite....Queen Gorgo.
Like many, after getting my hands on these excellent figures, I too was guilty of leaving them in their plastic prison as I was a firm believer of keeping my figures strictly MOC back then. Well, fret no more as I have now since joined the "if-you-don't-plan-to-open-'em-then-don't-bother-buying-'em" club about a year ago! I got them out of their packaging a couple of months ago and only just recently took some time to properly snap some decent pictures of them. These pretty much sums it up as to why I'd be keeping these figures even though the chances of seeing Xerxes or the rest of the Spartans being made by NECA are virtually none.
