This next set of pictures is dedicated to youse Masters of the Universe fans. Remember that episode when He-Man went to Etheria and rescue Adora from her 'belief' that the Horde were the good guys? I fondly remember that episode well because Adam/He-Man even donned the Horde Trooper armour to infiltrate the Horde's evil base. Up to that point, I've always believed that there were actual people inside every each of those menacing Horde Troopers. I later found out that the Horde employed robots underneath those armour. Kinda like the evil Empire taking in normal humans for their stormtrooper army as opposed to the earlier 'clones-only' policy practiced during the Clone Wars era...you get the analogy.
Anyway, I've always wanted to put Adam/He-Man's head on top of the Horde Trooper armour but I never really got around to actually doing it until recently. This is among the simplest head swap/custom job ever known to action figure enthusiasts yet it invoked many great nostalgic memories for those who grew up during the Filmation cartoon series run in the 'golden age of cartoon' era. This one's for all of you child of the 80s!
