AMC's The Walking Dead Season 10 Episode 6 afterthoughts

Ok, what is going on this week if I may ask? After having such a wonderful run with the early episodes of Season 10, Episode 6, Bonds, felt like a filler episode while we wait for the anticipated cliffhanger ending to the mid-season finale that's coming up in a couple of weeks.

I do appreciate the comedy between Negan and Beta in the Whisperer's camp. It's pretty hilarious to see Negan trying to fit in and impress numero uno that he belongs to the W herd and that he'd be an asset to Alpha because he has loads of information with regard to Alexandria and Hilltop. It's disturbing to see Alpha finally meeting Negan and hinting that Negan's finally accepted into their camp. But what is Negan's plans? I'd drop out from watching the series if Negan is indeed switching over to the Whisperers' side. But there has to be more to it than just Negan's intentions to fit into the Whisperers' setup.

My bet is on Negan finally assasinating Alpha when he's completely gained their trust. But that probably won't happen till we reach the very end of the season. Let's see.

Back on the good guys' front, the episode seemed to be centering around Carol and Daryl who are both on spy duties this week. Or so it seemed. Should've known that Carol will find it hard to resist capturing a Whisperer for interrogation purposes. It'll be interesting to see what they do next with their prisoner next week.

Rosita's is in danger of losing her place in the series I think. She's sick and a bunch of other Alexandrians are bedridden with the new disease as well. Episode 7's trailer also showed somebody will eventually succumb to the disease so it might be Rosita. In the real world it simply means that Christian Serratos has probably other acting gig (re: Lauren Cohan) and the producers of TWD will want to capitalise on her last episode with a fitting exit for Rosita's character. We'll find out soon if my predictions are correct.

And what's up with Eugene? Lonely souls exchanging messages through the radio waves? Was that a signal that we're gonna see the Commonwealth story line in the TV series real soon? This was later 'not denied' by the showrunners themselves. Will be really interesting to see real civilisation on the TV series after countless false 'prophets' claiming they're the ones putting back order in society.

Please give us a more intense episode next week dear AMC.
