That Book of Boba Fett finale

Mixed reactions all around with regard to that Book of Boba Fett (TBOBF) season 1 finale. It was so darn cool to see Din Djarin working side by side with Boba, jetpacks and all. Cad Bane's demise was, well, suspicious. My money's on Cad Bane making a return in future Star Wars series, not necessarily on TBOBF.

Pretty gutted to see that Grogu's needed to save Boba's series when he really belongs in The Mandalorian. It's obvious that fans are still wanting to see further adventures of Din Djarin and his adopted son. The episode ending suggests that both were probably heading to Mandalore to see Bo-Katan Kryze and to help her with her liberation of her home planet from the remnants of the Empire. I think most of us would rather see that than fights with local warlords on Tatooine. Speaking of which, we're heading right back to Tatooine for the Kenobi series in May, so don't get tired of the desert yet.

I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed that Danny Trejo didn't appear in the finale when his Rancor did. Boba riding out baby Rancor (not so baby anymore) through the streets of Mos Espa is predictable but those Phantom Menace-inspired droids were a surprise inclusion.

I have a feeling that Fennec Shand's probably gonna turn against Boba sometime in Season 2 since she's suddenly all okay with spice trading when Boba himself isn't in favor of the trade.

All in all, you know what I really feel about the finale? I think it's a massive throwback to the Magnificient Seven movie. Think about it, underdogs defending the town and winning the fight despite all odds stacking against them.
