I read the other day that Robert Pattinson tried to re-create that gravelly Batman voice but after two weeks of filming he was told to drop it. Traditionally Batman is NOT known to have a gruff voice till Christian Bale did it in Christopher Nolan's Bat-trilogy. Batman didn't speak with such a low tone in the comics either as far as memory serves. Neither Adam West nor Michael Keaton and his successors did the sandpaper voice which was fine for many. However, Pattinson mentioned that he adapted a whispery voice for Batman and that is a concern for yours truly. I mean, how whispery is whispery?
Let's hope that it doesn't sound like this guy down here....
