Great to see that DC is trusting their very actor who brilliantly portrayed the on-screen psychopath to write the upcoming DC Riddler: Year One comic book. There is no one better to explore the innermost early thoughts of Edward Nygma....I mean.....Nashton but Paul Dano himself. It reminds me a bit of how previously non-comic artists write comics like Gerard Way (The Umbrella Academy) and Kevin Smith (various titles) get to write comics in the first place. But I have a good feeling that Paul Dano's writing is going to be a hit because after all, he has modeled his performance after the real-life Zodiac Killer, which means he understands the deepest corner of the mind of a psychopath. Hope that didn't come out as creepy because I'm just referring to Dano's acting chops.
