Yeah. That slap took everyone by surprise. If ya ask me that was one below the belt. That GI Jane 2 joke by Chris Rock was inappropriate given that Jada Pinkett-Smith is suffering from alopecia. Smith took the stage later on to take his Best Actor award for his work on King Richard but he apologized to everyone except Chris Rock. The Academy has already said that they didn't condone violence. Totally understand what Smith was thinking about but it was still wrong. Whatever it is, I can already see hundreds of memes coming up. Now move over you Robin-slapping Batman meme!
