There have been heaps of rumours regarding a live-action Masters of the Universe film but so far we've seen nothing solid yet. So when an all-star voice cast list off the upcoming Masters of the Universe: Revelations animation film was announced the other day, fanboys went bonkers.
Just look at the list in the picture above. That is one heckuva all-star voice ensemble right there. Lemme just start by saying that it's so wonderful to see Alan Oppenheimer in the list as Moss-Man. The guy was BOTH Skeletor and Duncan/Man-At-Arms in the original Filmation carton series so his inclusion is a great fan service to say the least. I can understand Kevin Smith not giving him the Skelly role because it'll just create so much confusion and expectations ("I want the original voice actors for He-Man and the lot to come back!").
Mark Hamill as the voice of Skeletor? Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn? Henry Rollins as Tri-Klops? Alicia Silverstone's in it. Kevin Conroy aka I-am-Batman is in it. Many more surprises casts that'll make you say..."Does Kevin Smith even have the budget for this?"
We need a release date soon. I am so hyped up for this one myself. Perhaps this will pave way for that much anticipated but often hyped live-action MOTU movie too.
