According to Dark Horizon's webpage, there's a strong indication that the next X-Men film franchise will be based on the hit Marvel comic-series, "X-Men: First Class". This supposedly classified piece of information was leaked by the actor who played the young Scott Summers/Cyclops in the Wolverine: Origins movie. It will focus on the early years of the X-Men and how they come about re-adjusting to their mutant powers and to ultimately adapt to each other within the team. Filming is due to start in 2010, although the director is yet to be identified at this point of time.
This'll be sweet!!!! Let's wait for more official press release from Marvel Entertainment.....or Disney for that matter...now that Uncle Walt's estate owns Marvel! *Shucks!*
