Toy Story 4: I'm not crying, YOU are!

I bet nobody saw Toy Story 4 coming our way after that near-perfect ending Pixar gave us at the end of Toy Story 3. When I say near-perfect I really mean that Pixar gave us an open ended ending so that fans themselves may interpret how the Toy Story franchise should/must end according to their books. A lot of fans have come to terms that Andy's time was up and he eventually gave up ownership of his beloved toys to Bonnie. Many had that stinking feeling that it wasn't gonna be the last time we were gonna see Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang in action. . . . Naturally when Toy Story 4's trailer came out many months ago, it was met with all kinds of reaction from the masses. Some fans were complaining that the little boy in the trailer wasn't Andy because he looked different. Some fans were left confused and speculated that it could've been Andy's son...and that the gang finally gets passed back to their rightful owner aka anyone from Andy

Adidas Originals: X Star Wars collection...to be launched this Sunday!!!

The official Malaysian launch for the above Adidas Star Wars-themed merchandises is scheduled at 3pm on Sunday (Jan 17) at The Gardens, Kuala Lumpur . I'm not so hyped up about the products per se. Well, may be one or two....ok I do admit that I kinda like that 'rebel pilots'-themed orange pair of kicks! But it has been reported that there's gonna be some kind of show to commemorate the launch. I'm guessing ol' Anakin's gonna make an appearance i.e. while donning his famous black visage. We'll see who else is gonna drop in ....*let there be Star Wars freebies handed out on the day!* For those who can make it...see you there! (If you can identify me that is! LOL!)

The un-boxing of Jack Nicholson-Joker (Hot Toys DX-08)....

I can tell you now from the top of my head, the many 80s cartoon series/flicks that had influenced me to become the geek that I am now. Among the flicks that had captured my imaginations was the 1989 Tim Burton Batman movie starring Michael Keaton as the protagonist lead character and the stellar Jack Nicholson as the convincing psychotic criminal mastermind, The Joker . Hot Toys had given us both 1/6 figures i.e. DX-08 (The Joker) and DX-09 (Batman) but I'd only pre-ordered The Joker because I was still on the fence (till now) about splashing heaps of cash for a DX figure that has no human headsculpt included with it ('half-faces' do not count y'all!) . For the record, I still think that the Keaton resemblance is very good on the DX-09 figure albeit we'd only get to see his darkened eyes behind that Bat mask and the lower half of his face(s) but whether I'd go ahead and get the DX-09 is another question. Anyway, let's get on with tonight
