Thank you Hiroshi Yamauchi. RIP...

This came a little late for me and I was in the verge of completely missing out on this piece of info had it not been for my better half who notified me of the news. Hiroshi Yamauchi, the man who steered Nintendo for more than 50 years, responsible for the creation of smash classic video game hits like Super Mario, Donkey Kong, Castlevania, Super Contra and Zelda, has died aged 85 two days ago. I find it very coincidental indeed when less than a week ago, I've talked about two retro game consoles, and how they changed the lives of many in the 1980s...and now we find that the man responsible for giving us all that wonderful memories had passed away.

The Rebel Page salutes you sir. Thank you for the experience!
