AMC The Walking Dead Season 10 Episode 5 afterthoughts

It warms my heart to finally see Negan back in his familar get up but I'm not really sure if that's the original Lucille bat we're seeing. Didn't Michonne destroy/dispose off the bat sometime back? I could be wrong though. For a moment there I truly believed that the man has changed and yet again he showed his liking for children. A bit unfortunate to see the mother and son survivor team dying a senseless death but it did remind me a bit towards The Governor's backstory.

I'm a bit stressed out to see Negan being captured by the Whisperers during his foray into the outside world but let's home he doesn't switch over and fight for Alpha instead. Please don't piss the fans off AMC!

Alpha's doing what she's doing best all this while i.e. being a creepy leader while she exerts her creepiness to those around her. About time people in her camp starting to go bonkers (this week is Gamma's turn) and wondering they're fighting for the wrong side all along. I take it that Aaron's probably gonna be their target next based on Alpha's conversation with Gamma.

Back in the good guys' side, everything's moving at a glacial pace as usual. I feel things are getting a bit weary over on their side. The plot involving the hiding of food supplies is kinda cliche and nothing new. Can we please move on to other stuff now? Oh yeah, that's right, next week we're gonna see how the Whisperers making their move towards the survivors' camps (based on the teaser trailer for Episode 6) and how Negan is forced to go along with them. Maybe Alpha/Beta is trying to get bits of information from the man regarding Alexandria/Hilltop.

Seriously, I don't have much to say about this episode. Let's hope things get really exciting next week for us TWD fans.
