Mattel's 12" Ray Stantz: First look!

Heads up people, here are some preview pics of the upcoming 1/6th scale Ray Stantz from Mattel...to be released through www.mattycollector.com of course, on Oct 15th. These look pretty impressive I must say. I certainly like the 'locker-room' ambience on the packaging. The 'ghostly' graphics on the packaging looks wicked too.
I'm a huge Ghostbusters fan, but unfortunately, I'm skipping this 12" line altogether to concentrate on the 6" line. That's already proving to be a daunting task already (both in terms of cost and availability, as they come in very limited quantity over here at the other side of the globe!). I'm eager to see whether these would be snapped up online in record time like Egon's 6" was a couple of months ago!

The sculpt is quite bad but the packaging and accessories are awesome...I hate this "released through mattycollector.com"...it makes it so expensive and hard to get.

Yup, agree with you Adrian. Headsculpt is a joke IMO! We're so used to the likes of Hot Toys, Enterbay etc.

Its quite frustrating to know that we won't have equal advantage to get these internet-only releases.. :(

Having said that, I'm just gonna stick with the 6" line....heheh! can't wait for the cartoon-versions as well!

This piece is amazing but we can't get it easily, right?? Must buy it through internet like the previous 6inch ghostbuster figure a few months ago..

Although the head sculpt is lousy, I might have to score this one anyway. I'll just pull the vison down over his eyes to obscure the crappy likeness of Dan Akroyd.

>>DEs...unfortunately, we'd have to scramble to buy this internet exclusive online ONLY....unfair!

>>Dash, I agree with ya bro, headsculpt suxx to say the least, but the accesories rocks!
