Random picture moment #040110: Harley Quinn and ol' Joker.....

It's clear now that I have this huge admiration towards the work of Alex Ross. One of the most imposing and rather iconic portrait that he's ever done was the one where the Joker held Harley Quinn in his arms while giving us his psycho/haunting look. Interesting enough, the model used by Alex Ross to sketch the Joker was in fact, himself!

I was messing around with my 6" DC figures last night and thought of doing this....

Yeah, yeah...I know...it ain't the same pose! But what do you expect from a virtually non-articulated Joker (from the Alex Ross Justice series) action-figure. On the other hand, the DCUC Wave 1 Harley Quinn's very articulated but is not in the 6"- 6.5" scale as the Justice figures! *bummer*...size issue! But you get the idea....tribute to Ross' portrait and all!

Geek rules!

Thanks saruman....I have a scale issue with my DC figures....some are within the 6-6.5" range while some (the DCUCs)are at a std 6"...

Marvel figures on the other hand....are all at 6"...good for group shots...hehe..
