Yet another cool McDonald's happy meal toy: Animated Optimus Prime!

A few months back, McDonald's gave us some really cool Happy Meal toys in the form of the JLA mini-busts. Well, technically the happy meal toys can be purchased separately albeit paying a premium 'stand-alone' price (as opposed to receiving it FOC together with your purchase of the Happy Meal set). I was over at McD the other day with my family and found out that they are currently giving out characters from the Transformers: Animated series to go with the Happy meal set. I can remember vividly that there were Optimus, Megatron, Ratchet and Bumble Bee being offered. For the record, I never really dig the series. It kinda looked like, well, cartoony.....in a humourous sorta way. I guess that's just me. I know the fact that many of my collector friends collect every single characters from the series, signalling just how popular the series was despite it being shunned by most G1 purists here in Malaysia (and most parts of the world I think!).

Anyway, since the Happy Meal toy costs next to nothing.....I decided to get good 'ol Optimus Prime for the fun of it. He looks quite cool in his truck form:

...and though he virtually has no articulation whatsoever in robot form, he looks true to his screen appearance nevertheless!
